Cookery Class
The 'master a dish' classes take a classic dish and demystify it to add to your repertoire, learning a few of our chefs' secrets along the way. Two hours in the cookery school masters a dish or skill of your choice. This could include making fresh pasta such as Tortellini or Ravioli, or learn new skills such as butchering and using a full chicken or filleting a fish.
A private class, enjoy undivided attention from one of our masterful chefs.
Shop
With an understated elegance, the shop combines Thyme’s own brand, Bertioli by Thyme, together with consciously sourced, artisanal products and one-off antique treasures. Resulting in a thoughtfully curated collection of fashion and homewares; with each item being led by our passion for the land, food and entertaining.
Spa
Nurturing peacefulness, stillness and beauty from within, the botanical spa is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquillity; a place for calm, mindfulness and meditation that provides respite from our busy lives. Key Facts
Don't Miss Out
Indulge –
Dip into the outside pool & hot tub, exclusive to hotel guest...enclosed by Cotswold stone walls and sheltered even on winter days, offering guests the opportunity to swim in pure spring water. Drawn from their our own spring, a subterranean river 50 meters down, the water is filtered through Cotswold limestone and a revolutionary biofiltration system, to deliver crystal clear water.
See –
Drawing inspiration from the Cotswolds’ famous sheep industry and wool trade, the Baa Bar is situated in the old lambing sheds and is characterised by bespoke ‘sheep seats’ designed by Caryn. Bartenders create homemade cordials, shrubs and infusions which together with fresh flowers and herbs from the garden, form a botanical cocktail menu that tells the story of the land.
Taste –
As the founding ingredient of Thyme, The Cookery School showcases the ‘love of the land’. Classes often start in the kitchen garden, showing guests how the produce is grown before harvesting for their menu; before preparing & cooking their meal under the guidance of Thyme’s chefs. We recommend trying out their flagship class The 'Instinctive Cook' where you can explore flavour combinations that inspire creative, confident cookery.
